A \u201cnode\u201d is an approach used by the Chapter and is considered an effective strategy for widely disseminating biotechnology awareness across Ethiopia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">Each OFAB node functions as a cluster that brings together universities, research institutions, extension services, and private sector representatives. These clusters are located within a 150 km range of the coordinating university. Members include key agribiotech players in the node cluster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-medium-font-size\">The coordinating university of each node has signed an agreement with the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) to host the OFAB node.
